• XAU/USD saw the highest increase, an increase of USD 23.20 billion, or 32.39%. 

According to the report, Doo Prime’s total trading volume in July 2024 is valued at USD 127.95 billion, an increase of 21.20% from the previous month. Furthermore, July’s average daily volume (ADV) is USD 4.13 billion, a rise of 17.29% from June. 

The financial market was affected by various factors in July. Due to that, the risk aversion sentiment among the investors has risen, causing the funds to flow towards the gold and other safe havens.  

One of the main factors contributing to the sentiment among investors was the volatility of the international financial market, such as the less than expected increment rate of the US CPI, etc. In this situation, investors have turned to gold to avoid risk, and XAU/USD became the product with the largest trading volume in July.  

Doo Prime’s overall trading volume is in a steady growth state. Year to date, Doo Prime’s total trading volume is valued at USD 698.50 billion, an expansion of 28.30% as compared to the same period last year. 

According to the recorded data, XAU/USD, EUR/USD, and GBP/USD were the investor’s top picks, contributing 85.89% of July’s total trading volume. Among them, XAU/USD has the highest monthly trading volume at USD 94.88 billion; while EUR/USD and GBP/USD have a total monthly trading volume of USD 15.01 billion.
